Thank you for 7 years

After 7 years, Bistro Bordeaux will be closing its doors on Easter Sunday, April 16th, after dinner service. I want to personally thank all our patrons, many of whom have turned into friends over the years. It has been an honor to promote French culture through food and wine. I have gained so much knowledge and experience, not to mention countless memories. But today I want to focus my energy on new projects and spend more time with my family, which has not always come first.

I remain committed to this great city of Evanston and I urge every one to support local independently owned businesses where 100 % of the money you spend gets reinvested in the community.

Please visit our sister restaurant Creperie Saint Germain (who just turned 5!) and Patisserie Coralie. I look forward to spending my summer in France drinking wine and eating foie and I look forward to coming back this fall with new ideas and a new project. Join us for one last dinner around good food, fine wine and loved ones before the end of next week.

Sincerely, Pascal
